How to add a rule to Solve Email Journey Map?

To add a rule to your journey map, follow the steps below.  Rules are important to help you dictate different paths and responses based on different information (whether it comes from your help desk or through an action).

 

1. You will want to drag the rule into your journey map to the spot in the journey map

2. Next, you will want to name your rule.

3. You'll want to select which context variable you want to create a rule for.  You will have access to context variables from your help desk or any context variables setup with your actions.

4. Once you've defined a rule, you can choose to add more rules by clicking "New Condition". You can create as many rules as you need.  We will always create an "Otherwise" path for circumstances where your rules are unmet.

5. Click save and your rules has been added to your journey map.

6. Your journey map will now have as many paths as rules you've created plus the "Otherwise" path
