The Security Page is accessible through the settings tab on your Forethought dashboard, and it provides details on redaction policies for your data. Redaction is the process of hiding or removing sensitive information. You will see that the redaction for “Help Desk Data” is always on, and you can’t enable or disable this redaction. Forethought uses the data for analytics, and by proactively redacting data, we ensure that we don’t keep sensitive information in your existing tickets.
For customers with Solve
Admins will see a “Solve Conversation Storage” row that they can enable or disable. Only Admins can enable or disable the redaction. By default, this is enabled for all organizations. If this is disabled, Forethought will stop redacting data at that point. Once the data has been redacted, it cannot be “un-redacted” or reverted to its original, non-redacted state. If you re-enable the redaction, all non-redacted historical data will be redacted.
