Solve Email 2.0 Multilingual Support

Solve Email 2.0 now supports multiple languages, just like Solve Widget! This great feature enables you to write emails in various languages and connect with people across the globe. You can use this feature to enhance your customer service and communication. In this article, we will show you how this feature works.

How to enable and use Multilingual Support

  1. Please reach out to your Customer Success Manager to turn on this feature.
  2. After turning on this feature, go to the Solve product and click on the Workflow Builder tab.
  3. Click on the Email tab next to the Widget tab at the top.

  1. Open an intent that you want to use for multilingual communication.
  2. Click on the Globe icon at the top right corner to open the Translations Page.

  1. Click Select supported languages to see the list of languages that are available.

  1. Select languages that you prefer to use in your Solve Email. You can choose as many as you like.

  1. After selecting, click Save at the top right corner of your dashboard.
  2. Click on the drop-down button to switch between languages and view the auto-translations.

  1. Select a language from the drop-down button to see the auto-translated phrases in your chosen language.

  1. You can edit the translations manually and customize them according to your needs.

  1. If you want to apply the same changes to other workflows that have the same phrases, you can select Replace all. This will replace all translated phrases of other workflows.
  2. After manually editing your translated phrases, don’t forget to click Save.
  3. To see if you’re translations are working correctly, click Test Journey. This is similar to the “Preview” button in Solve Widget, where you can also test if your workflow is functioning properly.

  1. Type in the email address you want to use for testing and click Test Journey to begin the testing. You will receive an email afterward.

What are the translatable items?

The translatable items are the parts of the email that the end user will see and interact with. They include:

  • Text Component

  • Button Text

  • Feedback Header and helpful/not helpful texts

Translation Logic for Live and Draft Status

  • The Translation page is designed to encompass all translatable items, both live and in draft status.
  • When a draft is created or updated, the system intelligently retrieves translations for components that haven't been modified from the last live version. Simultaneously, it auto-translates the modified components to maintain consistency.
  • When a response is published, the previous live version can be discarded.
