Document Index Guide

The Document Index shows all the content Forethought has pulled in from your help desk, knowledge base, and other connected sources. This includes articles, macros, and tickets that your AI agent analyzes and uses to deliver fast, accurate support to your customers.

What is Document Index?

Document Index is a centralized space where you can:

  • View all documents ingested into Forethought.
  • See your documents’ metadata, such as document type, title, status, last edit date, and source ID.
  • Understand how much content your AI has access to for answering customer questions.

Forethought currently supports indexing the following document types:

  • Articles
  • Macros
  • Tickets

Where to Find It
