As part of Workflow Builder's chat routing to Zendesk, some organizations might want to control the various departments that are available. In order to do this, you will first need to give Workflow Builder access to the Zendesk chat interface.
- First, navigate to the Zendesk Chat Admin panel from within Zendesk and navigate to Settings → Account → API & SDKs → Add API Client
- Add an API client with the following parameters:
- Client Name: Forethought Chat OAuth Client
- Company: Forethought Technologies

Redirect URL:
https://app.forethought.ai/zendesk/chat/authorize/success
- Ask your Forethought Rep to send you the Client ID and Client Secret.
- Once received, visit the following url:

https://app.forethought.ai/zendesk/chat/authorize?subdomain=YOUR_ZENDESK_SUBDOMAIN_HERE
- the subdomain will need to match your organization subdomain exactly.

- You will see the following screen. Click Allow and then notify your Forethought Rep that it is completed.
