Customize your chatbot in Widget Configuration to match your brand

Give your Forethought widget a unique style and brand that reflects your organization's personality, and create a personalized experience for your customers. With easy customizations available, you can make changes whenever you want. Navigate to your Forethought dashboard, click on Widget Configuration, and access a range of customization settings to adjust your widget to your preferences.

Customize Theme

  1. Select Theme on the right-hand side of the dashboard.
  2. Upload your logo and avatar image in either PNG or JPG format. We recommend a square aspect ratio of 1:1. However, regardless of the uploaded image's original dimensions, we adjust the width to match that of the widget, ensuring a consistent appearance.
  3. Input your chat header.
  4. Choose your theme color. You can use Hex, RGB, or manually select your color. This color will be used for the workflow's header, customer chat bubble, and buttons.
  5. Enter a greeting phrase.
  6. For the intent options, you can either display intents that were automatically ranked by 30-day inquiry volume, select the intents manually, or choose not to display the intents.
  7. Once you have customized everything, click on Publish.

Customize Widget Prompt

  1. Navigate to the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on Prompt.
  2. You have the option to display or hide the proactive prompt.
  3. Enter a greeting phrase for your prompt.
  4. You can choose whether to display the intent options in the proactive prompt.
  5. Upload an image in PNG or JPG format for your launch button. The widget icon has a square aspect ratio of 1:1.
  6. Once done, click the Publish button.

Customize Banner

  1. Navigate to the right-hand side of the dashboard and click on Banner.
  2. You have the option to either hide or show the banner.
  3. Select the image that matches your company's brand identity. For banners, we recommend an aspect ratio of 1:4.5 to achieve an aesthetically pleasing look. Even if users upload images with different aspect ratios, we will still resize them to fit the widget width.
  4. Choose a URL that you want to direct the user to when they click the banner.
  5. Once done, click the Publish button.
