What is it?

Solve Starter Packs are out-of-the-box intents that include the most popular inquiries across E-commerce, Fintech, and SaaS.

Who is impacted? 

This impacts customer support admins that build intents & workflows in Workflow Builder. 

Why is this important?

Today in Workflow Builder, customer support admins build workflows by manually adding a few ways customers ask questions. For admins, they don’t always know common questions among customers or why they might reach out for support.

This takes away the manual work of admins building intents from scratch – allowing them to get started with Workflow Builder instantly.

How does this impact me? 

Customers will see a list of suggested intents on the right hand side when they log into the Forethought dashboard.

How do I get started?

Follow these steps:

  1. Sign into the Forethought dashboard.
  2. On the left pane, click Workflow Builder. Select the Plus icon as shown.


  3. On the right side of the dashboard, you’ll see a list of suggested intents specific to your industry that are commonly used.

  4. Click + next to an intent you’d like to add.


  5. Review the training phrases associated with intent and select Add Intent when ready. Optionally, you can also add more phrases to the list if you’d like. 


Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Q: If I have an existing intent that is similar to an intent in Solve Starter Packs, what should I do? 

A: If you have an existing intent, you can leave the existing intent as is. The Solve Starter Pack intents that are not added and activated would not impact any live conversations. 

Alternatively, you can also create an intent from Solve Starter Packs, recreate the workflow, and then deactivate the existing intent. Note that this approach would result in two distinct time series of conversation data for the two separate intents.

Q: What’s the difference between using an intent in Solve Starter Packs versus creating a custom intent?

A: Intents created using Solve Starter Packs are already pre-packed with relevant phrases, therefore are easier to set up and tend to have wider coverage. You can choose to add phrases to these intents; however, deletion of pre-packed training phrases is not possible.
